All UHPI Heated filters share some common design considerations. First and foremost is that they were designed to be heated! An extended top collar, narrow handle shaft and maximized external surface area were all considerations designed to reduce cold spots.
Performance is enhanced by maintaining a minimal volume inside the filter. Turbidity is kept to a minimum with a carefully designed sample path.
All UHPI Heated Filters feature multiple seals to minimize blow by. The filter element is fastened to the handle for quick, efficient extraction and replacement. Our handle assemblies have a high-temp nickel and Teflon composite coating to prevent thread gauling, resist corrosion and aid in clean-up.
You may also select the type and size of your inlet and outlet ports, temperature range, type of sensor, operational voltage, and a wide variety of special options such as differential taps, over-temperature protection, thermocouple wells and others. UHPI Heated Filters are designed to use industry-standard filter tubes. We may also supply you with filter elements, replacement gaskets and other accessories.
